Collection and use of personal information

I would like to receive newsletters and other marketing information as specified in the privacy policy.
We collect and use the minimum amount of personal information necessary to send newsletters. The collected information will not be used for any other purpose than sending, and will not be used until the service is terminated or your subscription is canceled. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

As part of our shipping procedures, we verify item availability before shipment. If an item is out of stock, BORNTOSTANDOUT® may, at its sole discretion, cancel the out-of-stock item and dispatch the remainder of your order. We make daily efforts to update stock quantities but cannot guarantee their accuracy at any given moment. Therefore, placing an order does not guarantee the items you ordered will be available.

ERRORS AND INACCURACIES

BORNTOSTANDOUT® endeavors to describe and display its products and services accurately on our website. However, a small number of items may be described inaccurately or be unavailable. There may be delays in updating information.
BORNTOSTANDOUT® is not liable for the accuracy or completeness of any information, including prices, product images, specifications, and availability. BORNTOSTANDOUT® reserves the right to change or update information and correct inaccuracies or omissions without prior notice. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Shipping methods, costs & processing

  • We ship via FedEx Priority or FedEx Express (where available) under IATA Dangerous Goods (Limited Quantity) rules for alcohol-based perfumes.
  • Shipping costs are a flat USD $20 worldwide. Shipping is free on orders over USD $150 (calculated after discounts and before taxes or duties).
  • Orders dispatch after payment clears. Typical processing time is 1–3 business days, though certain items may need additional handling.

Delivery time (fastest available FedEx service, where applicable)

  • Transit times below are business days after dispatch. Local customs and last-mile variations may extend delivery.

  2. Asia: 2–5 days
  3. Europe: 3–10 days
  4. Africa: 3–10 days

  • We always use the fastest compliant service available to your address for dangerous-goods shipping.

Non-serviceable or regulatory limits

Perfume is a regulated, flammable product. Some addresses, regions, or jurisdictions may be non-serviceable or may require licenses, tax IDs, or other special conditions. If shipment is not feasible due to the nature of the goods, carrier limitations, local regulations, or customs restrictions, we reserve the right to cancel the order. If we cancel before dispatch, you will be notified promptly and refunded.

Address accuracy and delivery attempts

Provide a complete and accurate shipping address. P.O. boxes may be disallowed for dangerous goods in certain countries. Address changes after checkout are not guaranteed. Carriers may make multiple delivery attempts and/or hold parcels at a pickup point for a limited time. If the parcel is uncollected or undeliverable and returns to us, see section 7 on customer-fault returns.

Customs, duties and taxes

Orders ship Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). Any import duties, taxes, brokerage, or customs-clearance charges are the recipient’s responsibility and are not included in product or shipping prices. Where required by law, you may need to provide a local tax ID or import documentation. Failure to do so may delay or prevent delivery.

Loss, delay and risk

  • Events outside our control, such as customs inspections, carrier network issues, weather, strikes, peak seasons, or regulatory holds, can extend delivery times.
  • If the carrier shows “delivered” but you cannot locate the parcel, notify us within seven (7) days. We will assist with a carrier investigation. Replacements or refunds are assessed at our discretion after the investigation. Theft after a confirmed delivery scan is outside our liability; we may require a signature for certain orders.

Shipping costs, free shipping, and customer-fault returns

  • Original outbound shipping is a service already rendered and is non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a verified defect.
  • If you received free shipping and your order is later refunded for reasons not caused by us, your refund will show a deduction for the actual outbound shipping cost incurred (which may exceed USD $20).
  • If a parcel returns due to customer error, such as an incorrect or insufficient address, refusal, failure to pay duties or taxes, failure to provide required customs information, or failure to collect from a pickup point, your refund will be net of the actual logistics costs we incurred, including outbound and return freight, carrier surcharges, customs or duty reversals, and handling.

eturns and exchanges

  • Contact Customer Service to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and instructions before sending any return. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
  • You must notify us and obtain an RMA within seven (7) days of delivery.
  • For change-of-mind or preference-based returns, items must be unopened, unused, undamaged, and in original sellable condition, including intact outer wrapping, tamper-evident seals, caps, and packaging.
  • Because fragrances are dangerous goods, you must follow our return-shipping instructions. Do not return perfumes using unapproved methods.

What is eligible for exchange

  • If the bottle arrived broken or leaking, contact us within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery and provide clear photos or video showing the outer carton, inner protective packing, the product itself, and the shipping label. Upon verification with our shipping facility and FedEx, we will arrange a replacement.
  • If we shipped an incorrect item, we will correct it at no cost.

What is not eligible

  • Any item that has been opened, sprayed, used, or has broken or missing seals or altered packaging.
  • Items missing components (including caps, boxes, or gifts) or not in sellable condition.
  • Items returned after the seven-day window without our written agreement.
  • Where permitted by law, samples, discovery sets, personalized items, and limited collaborations are final sale.

Refund method and timing

  • Refunds are issued after we receive and inspect the returned goods for compliance with this policy.
  • Refunds are made to the original payment method only.
  • We typically process refunds within 5–10 business days after receipt of the return; your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the credit.
  • Any deductions described in section 7 will be itemized on your refund.

Abuse, fraud and resale

We may refuse returns, limit service, or close accounts in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, or unauthorized resale. We may require identification, a signature, or additional verification at our discretion.

Right to cancel or limit orders

We may reject, cancel, or limit any order before shipment if we believe it cannot be fulfilled legally, safely, or compliantly—for example, due to dangerous-goods restrictions, carrier limitations, local laws, sanctions, customs barriers, or suspected fraud. If canceled before dispatch, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price paid.

Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, war, sanctions, governmental actions, labor disputes, carrier disruptions, or utility failures.

Governing law and consumer rights

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence that cannot be waived by contract.
